Full Psychiatric assessment
An individual may seek a Full Psychiatric Assessment to obtain a clearer understanding of psychological symptoms that are impacting their functioning, relationships, or overall quality of life. This evaluation can assist in identifying underlying mental health conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, or cognitive impairments.

This information is also required to ensure accurate assessment. The summary of care information includes information regarding:
- Current & post medical treatment
- Current & post psychiatric treatment
- Current medication

Assessment
This will be an hour assessment with a Consultant Psychiatrist where they will be looking at past/current health (including mental and physical), education, employment, relationships and family history. If appropriate, a treatment plan will be discussed with you based on the outcome of the assessment.
The appointment can be face-to-face at our Warrington clinic or completed virtually online.
**If we determine that we are unable to meet a patient's needs and feel that they would be better suited to a different service, our doctor will make this recommendation to GP and discharge from Optimise Healthcare Group.**
If a patient requires more intense or urgent psychiatric support, they will be directed to NHS crisis services.
A full report will be provided to you within 10 days of your assessment.
